VOLO Go Cordless Hair Dryer

This technically challenging project came to us through a pair of entrepreneurs wanting to revolutionize the hair dryer market. Their vision was to create a hair dryer free of the ergonomic limitations of wall power via a cord. We engaged with factory partners to identify more efficient fan and heating components, and then set out to identify the ideal battery configuration to work within the ergonomics of a hand held hair dryer. By placing the cells in the handle, which inserts into the main body of the dryer for easy replacement, we were able to create a stylish cordless dryer that gives users the freedom to cut the cord and take the dryer with them wherever they please.
